Backcountry Elk Hunts
Our camps are very remote.  From our base camp we travel by mule to tent camps in prime areas. We rotate five camps to maintain our high success rate.  This is a rugged area and being in good shape is advised.  Combined with very limited tag allocation, this makes a lightly hunted area with historically good elk population.   We are confident we know the area well enough to help your hunt be a success.  When you choose to hunt with B barC Outfitters tags are guaranteed through us. Black Bear Hunts - Spring and Fall - 2 bear area available!
B bar C has maintained an overall success rate of around 90% kill on bear hunts.   We hunt the highest elevations in the region and therefore have excellent hunting well into June with top quality rugs.  50+% of the bear taken are color-phased.  We utilize treestands and ground blinds overlooking well established, active baitsites set up for trophy bears. We encourage Bow, Handgun Rifle and ML to engage In this rewarding hunt.  Our setups are custom tailored to suit your weapon of choice. Hunters seeking the highest quality Trophy hunt should choose the Trophy combo hunt with hounds and bait.

Of course our Spring bear hunt is awesome but we also offer limited exclusive pack-in fall bear hunting with 2 bear limit (with any weapon) in September. This remote area offers a large population of bears that can not be accessed in the spring.  This bear hunt can be combined with archery elk hunting for a truly unique and rewarding opportunity.
